I'm sharing with you some recipes from my kitchen.    I hope you enjoy them!

Radical Roasted Endive

Prepare to be delighted! 

This delicious tiny green adds a light bitter note, which makes it a perfect counterpoint to any meal.

Prep Time:

5 minutes

Serves:

4

Ingredients

4 bunches endive, halved

4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped

Olive oil

Sea salt

 

Dressing:

3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

2 Tbsp stone ground mustard

1 ½ Tbsp flour

1 Tbsp Nutritional yeast

Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

Heat grill on stove top

Drizzle endive with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt

Place on grill

Once endive gets grill marks, flip over, add walnuts, turn down heat to medium low

Allow endive to soften

 

Toss warm endive with dressing and serve

Yum!

Tip: 

Bitter greens help to cleanse the liver.
